Grading

Junior High Requirements

Students shall receive diplomas of graduation from junior high/middle school only after completing the prescribed course of study and meeting the standard of proficiency established by the district.

Required Core Courses

The following classes need to be successfully completed to graduate junior high:

Four (4) semesters 7/8 – each course:

English/Language Art
Mathematics
Science: Life (7th) and Physical (8th)
Social Studies: World (7th) and US (8th)

Parent Involvement

Please check your student’s grades often!

Instructors will update student grades every two weeks. PowerSchool is an online grade program used by teachers. Parents can access student grades and attendance from a computer or smart phone. Come to the front office for log-in information.
